has anyone worked part time hours before but not set hours? so i.e you work till the work is done
My shifts can vary between 3 1/2 hours has been the minimum and 7 hours which has been the max
but they only give me 3 hours holiday per shift

example - there was 7 hours work yesterday but i had the day off and got 3 hours pay

might start just working 3 hours then going home

Should be based on xxx amount of past weeks work.

Think our part timers earn holiday based on the past 21 weeks of employment.

Will depend what is stated in your contract
Laura works random hours but generally 10.5 a day. She never gets that per holiday day though as it's worked out as an average over the past 12 weeks. Bank holiday's are just set at 7.5

well if i've always done more than 3 hours then it doesn't take a mathematician to see that it cant be an average

im going to get my payslips out and work out what the average is

pretty sure its about 4 - 4 1/2 but for the last 3 or 4 sundays ive been doing like 6-7!
