Mintex will be fine - especially as an 'inbetween' solution
I'm on MiniTorque but seldom post, and agreed, they seem to all expect strong prices for things on there! I tend to just end up buying new usually now!
As I say, you'll definitely need that intercooler on there now with the smaller pulley, and with the "summer" coming - I'd be inclined to say don't fit the pulley before you've sorted the cooling tbh as you may find the car down on power due to getting too hot.

Well mot is booked for end of the month, New discs and pads are ordered.
I just went with the mintex as I can't justify spending just shy of 800 bucks for the upgrade I want.
Wheels will be getting powdercoated shortly soon too, as the new wheels I want have been put on the back burner for a new couch.

Cheers for that link, wish i could afford some new suspension atm.
How much you looking to spend on one? If you plan to mod it I would advise getting one which already has the pulley and intercooler upgrades done, save yourself a few hundred quid and just one ball the exhaust aswell to free up some ponies.

Well the new discs and pads arrived the other day they look quite good, just hope they work as well as they look.
The cars away to get them fitted and get its mot today too, hope its not too bad I know I still need an abs sensor as the lights are still on the dash and I've no traction control, ( not that I use it) its just trying to figure out which ones gone.
Bye bye wages

Garage should be able to tell which ones gone by reading the fault code or testing them with a multimeter (i think)

Unfortunately they don't have the code reader as its just a small local garage, like you said though they will know by the current it uses. Plus he won't fail me on the stupid Shit like most would, eg, too dark a window tint or whatever.
Got to phone back later to find out the damage I'm expecting a few zeros at the end of the total.
Tbh could have done my brakes myself but would have meant buying a trolley jack and doing it on the road.

Brakes got fitted the other day and I'm surprised how well they stop considering they are pretty much low budget items.
Still can't fix the abs fault so its going to the sparky on Thursday.
So everything was going great until today
Rear wiper motor decided to shit itself right after washing the car, so I took that as a sign to remove the afore mentioned motor and rear wiper and fit a grommet instead. Just a crappy halfrauds one till my glass one arrives will put pics up once the Mrs gives me my sd card back.
Oh also next month there could be a few New toys

Well its been an expensive morning so far, ordered loads of new gear from clean your car and finally orders my new pulley!!!!
I went for the 16% for now. My new grs motorsport intercooler will be ordered today or tomo also!
I need to find a garage to weld on some tailpipe finishers also as some wee jakey has pinched one of mine. I quite like the look of some powerflow ones and I'm sure there's a dealer round here.
So all in all expensive week for the mini.

Well finally got around to fitting the intercooler yesterday. Only took an hour and neither me or my maye had ever done one so was quite chuffed. Car seems to pull alot better from around 3500 now. Will get some pics up when its not raining.
Just got the pulley to fit now but thats way too much for me to do so will get it booked in somewhere when im flush.

Shit quality phitos but you get the idea. Also need to clean under where the old cooler covered and generally tidy the whole thing up as its not been done for a few months in there.
