See I wouldn't call that a winter shed. I'd call that a everyday car.

I crashed that Corsa I had last year into a kerb in the snow, true story. Reversed it off and carried on. Like a boss.

That is the reason I have my 530D atm. Faster than most cars and does 42+mpg when needed ( got 48 max so far). I wish i still had my E36 323i but I was spending most of my part time wage on fuel. Not ideal when at uni and no loan.

i could have bought a nice diesel car, but i dont want a diesel and none appealed to me, so i thought i'll buy a cheaper one and use the rest of the money to put away and add to my new car funds

I'd love a E39 530D. My missus Dad has a 530i (facelift) that makes me weak at the knees

My sister has one of those, has had it for 3 years now. Literally sounds like an old transit van.

I've got a year round shed, it only needs to make it through the winter so it kind of counts. It cost me £750 over 18 months ago, has carried me about 20k miles and only had tyres and brakes Hopefully get half my money back as well when I get my new motor early next year.
