Man Utd were the same in the early days, gettign knocked out oin the early stages year in eyar out (most usaully by Galatasaray lol), not aided by the foreigners rule at the time and Arsenal and Liverfool faired little better in their first few years

People laughed at the price tag on Cavani's head but come on... Him, or Carroll? This is where United would normally dig out the win required to go through but they are looking really rattled since that City defeat.

Made that hard work. It was a good game to watch despite the result.

Benfica must have had 3 chances on our goal and scored 2 of them They defended really well and we seemed to be always making one extra unnecessary pass instead of someone having a shot! Also far too many times the ball was going back to de Gea, showed the lack of creativity in midfield at times. He still should of been capable of hoofing it in to the stands instead of gifting it to them though.

Probably not going to win the group now. What a fuck up At least City are basically fucked
