Back from the Bolton game. Not entirely sure what the red card was for! We're having enough problems with 11 men on the pitch, let alone 10 against Spurs.

Jaaskelainen was the only thing today that stopped the score going into double figures, he played a blinder.

It's looking bad.

i can see where the ref was coming from...if prker got past he would have defoe in play down the centre against only one bolton player. the foul on benny should have been a penalty so it was swings and roundabouts today

Don't get me wrong, we didn't deserve anything from the game today. It's just a pain in the arse to have someone sent off so early for something that looks a bit suspect.

We were held together last year by 3 players. Sturridge went back to Chelsea, Chung Yong Lee had his leg broken pre-season and Holden is still out with a knee injury. I really think they made us a lot better last year and spirits were high with us playing well. Confidence seems to be playing a huge part at the moment.

We also don't seem to have anyone who is keen to shoot. Going forwards today we made it near the box and somehow ended up passing our way back into our own half. We've got Tuncay sat on the bench, he scored on his debut and we've rarely played him since.

The issue we have is that although many fans are not confident in Coyle at the moment, who could we bring in that could do something with the rabble we have?

Yeah it was a good thing to do. Motty got it a bit wrong on the commentary though as he didn't do it in front of the Bolton fans. We we down that end of the pitch but it wasn't directed towards us.

Decent goal though from what looked to be a well practiced set piece.
