I normally find the nearest hedgehog roaming around and use that to scrape the ice off

I don't have time to scrape and de-icer in the morning
Plus scraping can scratch your windscreen, not the scraper but trapping bits of shit from the road under the scraper and dragging it across the windscreen. At least I get a nice clear windscreen
My car (as it's a diesel) takes forever to warm up, so blasting cold air at my windscreen does fuck all

Depends where you live pow. I'm ok at my house, up a private drive and the car can't be seen from the road.
Obviously wouldn't leave it running by the side of the road

Must be nice to live in an area you can't start your car and leave it running without worrying about it being pinched!

Get in van, press button, ice melts, drive off.
Got noticeably milder round here today. Had a fair hailstorm whilst on the roof though.

It's back! Well, it is in Melrose anyway.
Meant to be going up to Edinburgh later, need to convince the in-laws my car will be fine in the snow.
