I've just bought the KDDB52 one of these, have to say it looks epic with the features it has. I also love that it has variable display colour so you can choose the illumination to match your dash.

my first head unit, ex demo from halfords so nice and cheap, fitted it there and then in the car park in my 1.2 corsa vegas, even though all the wires had been cut
Alpine 9807 RB - awesome sound quality
then had some panasonic MP3 head unit for a while, swapped it with my Alpine just for a test and the difference in sound was night and day with my rainbow sl components and RE audio sub.
Currently using this Alpine CDA 9853R had it for 6 years now, bought it second hand off ebay, great bit of kit if a bit overcomplicated with parametric equalizer for fine tuning, no bass and treble setting
9853R

Alpine 9882 RI. Got ipod lead aswell so ipod is tucked away and full ipod control through the headunit and also paid the bit extra for the wiring harness for using steering wheel controls.
Looks the same as yours Bonney is it?
edit: Just realised how shit the pic is Fits better than that now aswell, had it pushed too far in then

I much prefer the OE look these days. If I was to have aftermarket I'd look no further than the Eonon stuff.

I like the buttons, but can't help thinking it was removed from one of the alien spacecraft from Independance day.
