I did 8 miles on road on my bike yesterday and that was bad enough! Resistance from the tyres was ridiculous..

my mate said that when we went out for a ride a couple of weeks ago, his tyres were flat as a pancake

Really is, I used to commute to work on a mountain bike took about 35mins, on a steel fixed gear road bike I was knocking about 10mins off without even trying lol
