Hi!
Fine test today @ really dirty snow, salt, water weather between -2 and -5°C on the Motorways A 7 and A 44 in Germany from Bavaria to North Rhein Westfalia throw 450 Km. I can tell you: headlamp washers are soo usely! In the night you can see so much bether after each wash perioud.
Today was a test at first with a relay for headlamp on warning (Scandinavian system relay, it menas: engine on = light on, but the headlamp washer system is off). A pic after 200 Km:
After them, manual light on. A Pic after another 250 Km:
I was not on a pit stop station for washing my car at all this drivingtime.
And here is this lightrelay:
I have this system since aprox 6 years. Fine stuff not only in winter. The genuine washer jets are still availible on Opel Classic Parts in Germany, but I have Vectra C / Signum parts on my Corsa with genuine Corsa B water bottle.
Greeting,
Micha

Hello!
In October a new front brakesystem was installed on my Corsa. These days the rear axle followed.
It started from: Front: genuine Opel parts: calipers with 48 mm lobes, discs in 236x20 mm, pads and assy hoses.
Rear were genuine Opel drums with all inner life.
Last, but not least: it's a x14xe 5 door Corsa with 5.3 ABS system and a load sensing modulator on the rear axle.
And now new parts: Front: genuine remafactured by Lucas Calipers with 54 mm lobes, Sandtler RS Discs in 256x24 mm and Ferodo DS performance pads. New hoses are from Hel performance.
Rear: all genuine Opel Corsa C / Tigra TT brake discs system with genuine Opel discs and pads. Only the caliper holders and the handbrake cable were used, respectively. All capipers I painted in ardenblue .
Now just over the first 100 Km with new rear brakes i cant say, that my Corsa overdrived in bends, when I'm braking.
Here are some new pics form this very expensive job. First 2 pics are before this job, all another pics: after it.
Greeting,
Micha

Hello!,
Now, since today my Corsa is with summer wheels and tyres. By this work I installed not only the summer wheels, but also my new winter spare wheel on a genuine Corsa B GSI allys and my genuine first steel wheel too.
The pics are for your information. Note the space between wheels and brakes and between tyres and Corsa. The Brake System: front: 256x24 mm Sandler RS discs with Ferodo DS pads. Rear: genuine Corsa C 1,8 liter engine brakes. All calipers i painted last year in Ardenblue, my Cors is a Rio-Verde-Green Car. I have Irmscher shock absorbers and Steinmetz (Eibach) 30/30 springs. Aktually they maybe 40/40...
The pics are:
Front and rear axle respectevly: genuine Corsa B Advantage and World Cup (Cool) 5 spokewheel in 5,5x14, et 49 mit 165/65 R14 Good Year Ultra Grip 7+. My winterwheels and tyres.
Genuine Corsa B GSI, Sport and World Cup (Cool) 3 spokewheel in 5,5x14, et 49 with 165/65 R14 Dunlop Responce. my new winter wheel without rolling direction. Still unused sinse last year and i don't need a change here. This wheel was since Nov. in my car and now the're some new scrabs on the surface, anyway I use my car not only a a show car. Because I have to by a new summer wheel, this wheel still will be another 2-4 weeks in my car.
Genuine Opel Corsa B replace steelwheel in 5,5x14 et 49 mit 165/65 R14 Michelin Energy. This one is a genunie replacewheel form Zaragossa and I used it 2 times! But now the tyre is too old. Only for this demonstration the wheel was a third tim on my Corsa.
Irmscher Twin Spoke Exclusive bicoloralloy in 6x14, et 42 with 185/60 R14 Michelin Energy Saver. My summertyres since 2012. This alloys are identical with normal Twin Spoke, but here the spokes were milled off after painting the wheel in grey and another layer of clear paint was applyed. The spokes were milled down aprox 2-3 mm.
My new Irmscher Spectra Alloy for my new summer replacement tyre will follow in 2-4 weeks. I think i will be a 5,5x14 alloy...
All pictures I maked with my mobileponcam from Nokia 6220 Classic. It's a 5 Mpixel cam with Carl Zeiss optics with Xenonflash, the pics are in a high quality. And the Car is in all cases with all 4 tyres on the earth and not on the car-jack. Sorry, but the wheels are dirty .
At first the front axle, german driver site:
Now the rear axle, german driver site:
Enjoy the pics, it's for your inspiration about new brakes, wheels and lowering rate.
Greeting
Micha

Hi!
I'm very busy at the moment. My wedding is very very soon .
I have only small updates on my Corsa like radio remote control.
But right now i have a tip for all users here with a dream of an Irmscher grill for Corsa B. One German Opel dealser has 3 last of them. one mounth ago i orderd 2 of them for my car for reserve .
Here is the link: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Irmscher-Kuhlergrill-Opel-Corsa-B-Kuhler-Grill-i1201051-Frontgrill-Front-/200940125715?pt=DE_Autoteile&hash=item2ec8f6fe13
You can pay it with PayPal and I'm really sure, that this dealer will send this parts to UK too, if you ask him.
Good luck,
Micha

Hello!
I have 2 genuine new Corsa alloys on the german passenger site. Additionally the alloys were coated by my painter with clear coat. Unbelievable, but genuine GM alloys were painted with clear coat only on the front site! With the years the brake dust goes int the metal of the alloy wheels. Hate it. Additionally my genuine alloys were really broken after 15 years of using.
Enjoy my pics,
Micha

Hi!
I'm not dead, but I had some problems last time. EGR valve was done on my x14xe and a little crash with a stupid VW. He drived out of a parking place and I was on the streed...
By the way my x18xe1 project is still at work. Habe a brandnew cylinder head and valves and cam and new oil pump and and and... Need little more time and money haha. Will load some pics later.

Hi!
So guys, maybe you know, 2010 Opel maked new bikes again in an cooperation with italian bike specialist Bianchi. However I have one of this mountanbikes. Its a hardtail with 27 gears and some nice Shimano components. but not genuine anymore .
By the way today I cleaned both: my car and my bike, this one was really dirty after some tours this year in Sauerland/Germany.
However: it's so sexy, when clean!
Best regards,
Micha

Hello Corsa Fans,
just a little feedback: it's done since 6-7 weeks: an x18xe1 engine is inside. It was a complete changing with brand new engine, F15 C3.55 with 5th gear from F15 4.19, new A/C compressor, new steering pump new H&R stabilisator bars, etc. All bolts are new too. After all I was at german TÜV too. The new equipment works since 2500 Km right now and I have so much fun with it. x18xe1 is a very perfect engine for Corsa B. Cant understand why Opel/Vauxhall didn't used this machine like a OPC issue.
Greeting,
Micha
