I guess if you want a brand new M3 and nothing less, then comparatively speaking it's a good deal.
I just think any sensible person would go and buy a 2-3 year old M3 which will avoid most of the depreciation and you would have something to show at the end of it.

They could lease at a bit less money and give it back and also have nothing to show.
Would have cost them less though, yes.
I'm just not with this notion of 'nothing to show'. It's all about how much you put in to it.
Agree on the older car being wiser, if you can call running one of them wise

folk.... get with the times!
How many folk can afford cars without finance or lease etc!
And normally if they can it'll be a 1-10k 'shitter'
New cars cost a lot of money, and I dont see the problem in taking finance to buy them
We took out a loan to buy the Range Rover. We dint havew 25k sat in the bank gathering dust at the time. Should we have bought a 3k 10year old car because of that??? no

Whilst that would be something I'd rather do personally, there's a whole lot more cost involved by doing that, tax alone is £400+
Plus then it's a 3 year old motor you're talking about, no warranty so if things go wrong on the M3 it's going to be very expensive. That's where the lease deal comes into its own, you just pay the payments and don't worry about a thing

we also leased a car for 2 years.... prob worked out cheaper than owning a new car. In fact IT WAS cheaper than buying the same car, running it, taxing it then selling it.
in fact.... i'm going to look into RRS, Disco and FFRR lease prices now

Do it Colin!

For a guy who enquires about a different car every week can you really say you will be happy renting a car for so much a month knowing you cant mod it like those on other ///m forums.

You probably could if you so desired, though ive got a feeling the cost of aftermarket bits for an M3 would be more of a deterrent than a paper lease agreement.

3cm still lives with his mum, so has plenty of disposable income every month to spend on fake guns and replica car parts. doesn't have an understanding of the way the world works.
Didn't you get into the whole pay as you car thing, and then found out your overpaying for a boring ford focus so had to get a tigra

my focus cost me £414 a month over 2 years (£250 deposit though). so when you consider that, it's a fantastic deal.
Even that's not bad. What was the price of the car?
16750 iirc.

Even the E46 aftermarket parts are laughable in most cases, god knows what the E92 must be like

That M3 deal looks like good value to me.
I know plenty about finance lease, depreciation and benefits/drawbacks to such arrangements but it will be lost on the majority of individuals making comment in the thread.

I think it's a really good deal if it suits him. Is this definitely personal lease btw?
