Most people prefer either celtic or rangers because youve either been brought up to like them or when you play football as a kid you have no idea of any other teams other than the two most common. Same applies to football games.

Scottish football is like Spanish only on a far far far more insignificant scale.

@ thinking Wigan are a big club. They're a joke and once they finally get relegated this year (have genuinely no idea how they keep surviving) they will hopefully keep dropping!

If you took the money away they'd plummet straight back down to non league where they came from. Maybe L2 at best.

if nothing else city have a dedicated fan base.
Scottish football should copy MLS, not a perfect system but suits a league full of shit unsupported teams

Wigan are part of the epl due to money! My point was that no matter how many fans dundee utd might gain from rangers and celtic leaving they would have no money to do anything and the spl would fold. If you cant see that you are a helmet. I didnt say wigan were big. I said as big as they are

Could you please start a thread to discuss how financially stable and well supported Wigan are?
Thanks in advance,

Think about what I said about how the league would settle to its natural level. Atm rangers and celtic are keeping the league well above what it can support. It wouldn't be the same as it is now but it would be more sustainable due to the fact teams wont have to plough as much money in/spend on wages to even come close to winning the league. Theres far too big a gulf between the top two and the rest of the league right now.
