Leverkusen have given up, they knew they were beat before they stepped on the pitch.
I can't see what else you can do to the champions league than how it is?
Just barca are a different class

You're not even lieing. He is peerless.
The stats get more incredible by the game. 28 in 25 Champions League games, 8 hat tricks this season and 2 just this week....including 1 for Argentina when he is supposedly shite yet is going to blow Maradona's record out the water by the time he is finished.
This season - 42 games 48 goals 20 assists and it's the start of March. He hasn't went more than 1 game without scoring since October.

Messi is undoubtedly the best player on Earth. By the time his career comes to a close I fully believe I will have been fortunate enough to watch the greatest player of all time too. Ronaldo is an extraordinary talent, and will be known as one of the best of this generation, maybe ever, but not thee best. The thing is, Messi would already be known by that title if he played for United, but because he plays for Barcelona, people seem to dislike him Mental!

He's 5 of being Barcas top scorer ever.
Was thinking earlier, in 15 years will we be trying to tell the youngsters that their bright thing will never be as good as Messi, the way old folk now tell us Maradona or Pele were better?

messi was given drugs/hormone replacements when he was younger because he suffered from growth impediments.
not natural talent, had it implanted imo

That's the very reason he will never leave Barca unless he's forced. They paid for everything, looked after him and his family. More than just a club indeed.

to truly truly be labelled the best ever, imo messi must move to another club at some point and be surrounded by diff players. Ronaldo has proved himself at 2 of the biggest clubs in the world in the of the biggest and best leagues in the world.
no doubt messi is the best right now and one of if not the best ever but imo he will need to leave the comfort of barca for say a manchester united or a napoli etc. and prove he can do it around othe rplayers and in a different environm, ent. imo. the whole national team thing to me is diff as international football is of a much better standard now and one player wil lnever ever be able to drag a whole team with him (see Ronaldo for example) to winning a workld cup as say a Pele, a Gerd Muller or a Maradona did. again, all imo
