i think I preffered them before if I'm honest, could you not spray the old reflector bit so they are the same shade? Not that it's a massive difference tbh.
I love the car though. Insurance group on these? Could be tempted if the right one came about for the summer.

Unsure on insurance group, but they cost about the sam to insire as a 330i for me.
Jambo - its a fantastic car, love the engine, although it feels very safe. You can do 3 figures without realising.
Only annoying thing is everyone always wants to race you, even if you're driving slow. I just ignore them.

Looks much better Ben , I think a red upper brake light would work better with them though

i was thinking that, but my old one was broken and the clear one is brand new, so no chance of that.

it wasn't worth the money they cost to do tbh but i can resell them for 100 anyway. i just didn't like the orange bits on the side reps and rear lights.
i don't mind the headlights though.
hardtop is a no go. need to buy fencing for the garden. bloody houses

i've had a faded patch of leather on the drivers side bolster since i bought it. the previous owner was a bit chubby and said he always caught it when getting in and out.
loads of people on another forum said cherry blossom shoe polish works well, so bought some and tried it.
amazing difference as there was no colour there before ( forgot before pics )
doesn't rub off either which is good.
and finished off the lights. had to stick the grey 'french fry' bits back on, which separate the lights nicely. can't see the join between tint spray and red plastic now.
ordered some of nic barnes gliptone leather cleaner/conditioner aswell as the interior needs a clean up, but as you can see in the pics, it's not the best weather to get the hoover out

Its some scuff remover stuff, people on the z4 forum swear by it.
Trying to enjoy it at the moment, the weather is doing its best to ruin it though roof hasnt been down for weeks. BMW ownership has been good to me so far, hoping something expensive doesnt go wrong

Jinxed!
Lights look though. Think i would possibly darken the white bits too though. Would blend in much better with the colour of the car IMO

just had to drive through a flooded road (unlit country road) so didn't see until the last second, and the heatshield for the centre section of the exhaust has been ripped off
now it's hanging down and scrapes everything down the road fucking cars. hope it's a cheap fix.

Fuck sake, should be able to fix it yourself though. Most are just little fixings or bolts in my experience.

ok so the damage was 2 bent up and ripped off heatshields. luckily they were still on the car even after being scraped on the road for 20 miles.
