How long has Moyles been doing the show? I seem to remember listening to him for donkeys years on Radio 1. I remember the 15 : 00 slot he did back in what, 2003 or something?

A shame Moylesy is going but he has been doing 6:30 starts for donkeys years now. cant blame him. need sto get over his obsession with tv though, hes not suited. simples
generally loved the show although over the last few years theyve become compeltely obsessed with every reality show going which drives me insane in the membrane!!! have them on from 6:20 to 7:20 these days but rarely hear much as am still snoozing. radio doesnt really exist in london life
I dont mind Grimmy but cant stand his yorkshire accent with added bumboy effect. Love Zane and Vernon Kaye on brekkie but was never gonna happen, surpirsed Greg James hasnt taken it

well majority of people dont have a car so you dont ever listen to it there and then you dont really have it on phones like you used to and even if you did, you spend all your time on the tube where it wouldnt work anyway
ie, you hardly ever listen to the radio

Radio 1 are going to have to do some epic advertising, in order to gain new viewers.
Will be interesting to see their morning stats go from 8.5M to around 5M within a week in September

As long as it's not Mills then it's not too bad. I only really listen between 6:30 and ~7 0 when my alarm is going off anyway. If they start playing the awful Radio 1 playlist songs during that time then I'll change stations for sure; the half hour of banter at the beginning of Moyles' show made it ideal to wake up to.

Quiz on songs from the 60/70/80's, which is why Radio 2 is a no-go for me. The way I see it is Radio 1 is more for teens and early-twenties, then with R2 you have to be at least 35-40. The awful playlist on daytime R1 makes it rubbish for anyone about 20+ imo.
