Quite looking forward to the opening ceremony, even thought it looks like the Teletubbies are gonna walk out soon.

And i've already informed the missus she's going to hate the next 2 and a bit weeks as i'll be watching sport all day every day

Not very historically correct either. Seen a black man playing cricket, and a rich black man in the industrial revolution so far. Stupid.

Hope everyone will stop moaning about Becks not being a part of it now.

He looked well chuffed with himself

Cycling isn't looking too good though, although bet365 have shorter odds on Cav winning now than before the race, even though he's 6 mins down on the leaders

And just watched Louis Smith bawling his eyes out after his pommel horse earlier on

Brilliant stuff already, atmosphere in the pool is better than I have ever seen or heard for heats.

3 Scots tearing up the pool already, can't wait to watch the semis and finals tonight

Cavey - how at 11:50 this morning can you say that the cycling wasn't going well, it's a 6 hour race anything can happen and it's not like Cavendish is going to sprint the whole thing.

He'll do nothing all race and come through with 500 metres to go
