Haven't got around to fit mine just yet. But have been looking a lot under the bonnet

Think I have got all the vaccum hoses covered, but what about the EGR? Can that just be mounted back in place after removal of the throttle body?

And what about my air filter box, can I still use that? As it looks like the pipe that goes into the box with the plug on it, goes all the way to the other side of the engine.

Sorry if I'm posting wrong place, but thought it would be better to post in this thread.

As for to cheap, can anything be too cheap what your the buyer? At the end of the day I only use this money to help build the twin engine corsa so do not need to charge the earth.

yeap,

your find no chip in the ECU, you can OBD flash it though...

and you cant swap ecu's as it has a 2 wire knock sensor on the post 97 and one wire on pre 97

You can repin and wire it up, but its long

had this problem doing an engine change on a 1.4 sport, i just swapped knock sensors over.. wasnt any need to rewire or repin the ecu.. was a lonnnnng time ago but im sure i just swapped them?

None of these engines are restricted like the C/X16XE(L) engines are, so it's not really needed.

I thought that the x18xe1/z18xe1 manifolds with their variable inlets were very restrictive,is that not the case then?

It's a completely different design of inlet though, so it would never work.

Do you have any black painted ones ready to send out??? Ive recently got back into work and ive wanted one for a while. Looked on ebay but they are unpainted/polished ones. Plus the painted ones would be easier to clean. Also has anyone fitted one to a standard x14xe and got a proven gain???

I only have them in stainless finish and only have them painted on buyers request.
