another long day today with a trip back to tx autosport for mapping , very happy with the results , but they were having problems keeping it in the rollers as it kepted trying to get out, as you can see on the graph at 5000 rpm it drops of thats as it has come of one of the rollers then as the boost drops slightly it drops back on to it, so they couldent get a final number, will get it back to my mappers soon tho to get a figuer, so it made 286bhp but he said it was easly 300bhp but just couldent get it to stay in the rollers, boost is set to 19psi and drops to 15 , is great to drive on the road, has to be dry tho or it will just spin up, had a play with a porsche boxster (310 bhp) and just left that so am very happy with it only one problem of the day is under boost there is a loud squeal and they said it could be my alt pully rubbing so they said they have smaller ones so grabed one but it looks to be the same size, will have a proper look when its day light again

not sure if the sound is working on this

Good results. How come you travelled all the way down there to get it mapped though surely there is someone closer who could do it?

Why were they having problems keeping it on the rollers? Surely a place like that should have everything needed to keep it planted!

the way they strap it there is pants as the rollers are set up of the floor so there arnt many places to strap it to

ive took the seam sealant of by there and got quite a bit of clearance now, im now thinking that the kink in the hidden exhaust is the restriction causing the noise

Needs some tyre shine
Looking good, can't work out whether I actually prefer it with the standard grill. Kind of gives it a sleeperish look that an Irmy grille would get rid of.

been having quite a bad oil leak out the cam cover gasket so bought a new gen vaux one and some sealer

seams to of done the job now as the side of the head is dry, got a feeling that the squeeling noise is air escaping now out of somewhere just got to fine it now

Doesn't seem very good then, surely they'd work a better way to strap them down, shit can happen if one was to properly come off

took the car down to mappers today at efi parts to check the map is ok , to get a proper power figure and ive also got a squeal and to try find that , ended up having to take the bumper of , taking the middle plate of the dyno as the down pipe sat on it and even had to lift the coilovers up as the subframe was sat on the rollers ,
fueling was all good , does drop to 10.8 afr at 2500 rpm but the rest is spot on all around low 11s, bit disapointed with the power figure but i didnt want to chase a power figure just for it to be nice to drive which it is, made 261bhp and 336 torque, happy with it as i killed a megane f1 on the way down there too, found the squeal to be coming from the front boost pipe behind the pass headlight so need to pull it apart tomorow and have a look whats happening as it only happens at .9 bar of boost all the way to red line, boost does seam to drop of quite quickly so might look into a diffrent actuator
