The Apple TV is only a sideline business, a small series of products which is really only doing for the hell of it. It's not a serious product range and generally never gets much attention.

I'm slightly disappointed they've brought out an iPad mini, I kinda feel they've watered down their products only to give google and Microsoft a big stfu and steal a small % of their business.

All as expected really

I think the iPad Mini will do well - its slightly higher priced that I thought. Thought they might aim for under the 300 at $299. Its going to be hard with Amazon putting them out at cost.

Specs are as expected, it was never going to be retina as it wouldn't really work due to the resolutions. To be retina they would have needed to have the same res in the iPad as the iPad Mini which is more than is capable at the moment, must be close to 400dpi

Good to see we have not got a $-£ price. £269 is not too bad for a starting price compared with 399 for the iPad. Again shame its not the £249

Easily doable. There are phones out with higher pixel density. But it would mean a better screen on the Mini than the regular and there's no chance they were doing that.

There are phones but those are smaller and much easier to make. . There are no (even tech samples) of 7+" displays with that sort of Dpi that have seen it (unless i missed it). The LG one is probably the nearest but still only half the pixels required.

Remember, our prices include VAT, where as in USA, they quote the prices EX-VAT, so you're looking at around $400 if 20% tax was applied, which is around £250, so not far off.

So does the Apple website.

Doesn't work that much cheaper and won't be cheaper to get someone to post it to you

Will be $352 in most states....so £226 (M&S Exchange - 1.553)

£45 cheaper nearly if no someone going, even better if got $$$'s left from better exchange rate.

If you go on the apple site they list 2 retina 13's that are the same except for 128/256 and £250 in price, but the 128 is configurable to 256gb for £250. Why do they list 2?
