Finally got my hands on this today. Really nice. Build quality feels better than the S3.
I've just set it up so will have to play with it more, vanilla android though so probably not much else to say about it.
On screen buttons will take a bit of getting used to.

What's the screen like side by side with the s3? A few of the reviews saying the colours are a little washed out?

Perhaps it's more the S3 being over saturated.

The nexus doesn't look as vibrant. The nexus is probably closer to natural than the S3.
I wouldn't complain about either though.

On Virgin Mobile as of today! Works out at £46 more expensive than Three, although it's probably worth it for the Orange & T-Mobile (EE) coverage.
EE should be launching it by end of the month as well.
Still massively overpriced compared to SIM Only and buying the phone out right.

I'm happy enough with a SIM Only tarriff, but refuse to pay £400 for a PAYG one from O2, its £279 on Play store but always out of stock, where else can I get one from for that price?

Seems a bit daft that they've been OOS everywhere for so long. I know VM are only getting 200 on their initial order which is a tiny amount.

Crap from which perspective? The Nexus 4 is only available in seven countries and has received very limited promotion. I'd say constant OOS has got to be, to some extent, satisfactory for Google.

Just ordered mine through virgin this morning. Unlimited calls, texts, data, free insurance, 24mth contract. £26 a month, good deal I reckon!
EDIT: Virgin are in stock and mines being delivered tomorrow!

I've been a virgin mobile customer for 6 years and I have broadband, phone and tv with them. There was no haggling involved with that deal, just what they offered me. Wife got a cracking deal last time she upgraded aswell.
Same deal on an S3 was going to be £28 p/m. Think they must just go on handset cost??

4th tarriff down "Premiere £34". Thats what I've got apart from I'm paying £26 p/m.
Also out of stock now, lucky I was up at 9 to order it. Just have to decide whether to keep this or my 4s now. There going for silly money on ebay so might just sell and buy another when there back in stock on google.

Phoned and checked, you put doubt in my head. All confirmed that its the Premiere tarriff, £26 p/m. Woman I got said it would usually be £46 p/m. They've even waived the £7.99 delivery charge. Cant complain!
Anyone want a Nexus 4??

Yeh 16gb. They seam to be fetching £350+ on ebay just now. Only downside is this will more than likely be locked to Virgin.

My Nexus 4 has just arrived  Havent put it on yet but really impressed with the quality of the packaging, apple-esque, although the black ink has rubbed off all over my hands
Just noticed i got the 16GB one didnt actually ask for any specific size
