Looking forward to it!
Anyone thinking some 'Brawn GP' miracles might happen? Or is just too soon? What happened with Brawn seemingly came up overnight although it obviously didn't.

Nah rules have been too static for somebody to magically find 3 seconds over the field!
I hope Merc can surprise though, they've been nowhere for a few years now despite plenty of cash, hopefully they've been investing heavily into 2013/14 and Lewis.

I really hope so, for Lewis' sake, more than anything. Although I like Rosberg, seems a really nice guy, although, he seriously needs to up his game a bit. I guess that comes with a better package on his Mercedes. I have a feeling with Lewis in hand, and the new Mercedes, they might surprise a few. The car they had last year wasn't exactly great, so one would hope they would of improved it. Only thing is, so will the rivals.

Aye it's a shame. Needs to be some kind of incentive to take on successful drivers from GP2 etc for the lower ranked teams.
Some funding contribution from Bernie to say "you must take on a top driver from one of these lower formula".

No doubt his stake in HWA helped, a lot Although i think Merc should really be concentrating on getting in decent engineers/designers rather that acquiring more management 'heads'.
Interesting that Wolff kept his stake in Williams, maybe we'll see a technology share at some point in the future.
I guess we're just now waiting on the announcement of Susie join Merc as development driver

Brawn out... I read rumours at the end of last season, but seems to be building momentum now.

I can't be the only one thinking that after so long, it looks weird seeing Hamilton in something other than McLaren gear

Granted things didn't appear to be smooth sailing last year but it's a bit of a crazy plan to get rid of Brawn. But if this does go ahead and Wolff brings in Lowe, then i hope it works out for them - it needs to for Hamilton's sake.
Although it does sound a bit messy at Merc! "Too many hands" springs to mind......
Regarding Lowe, if he was planning to move i would have thought a) he would be on leave from McLaren and b) we would have already heard about it
Edit - Wonder what Brawn will do if he does get the punt; maybe there will be a switch'a'roo and Brawn will take Lowe's place as technical director and McLaren.....

Going off that, it sounds like it's purely a rumour.

I seen earlier if lowe was to leave he would have to have a 6 month period away so would brawn stay when he knows hes getting the boot? Hamilton is reportedly unhappy with all the changes aswell

If Brawn leaves Merc and I was Whitmarsh I would be worried about my position.

'True dat'
Rick - Can't see Whitmarsh going anywhere. If Lowe walked and Brawn did get the punt then i suspect McLaren would offer Lowe's technical director position rather than team principal. Whether or not Brawn would take it would be a different story.
