I'm willing to bet the majority of the victims have pvc doors which aren't locked properly (pulling the door handle up then locking).
The previous owner of my house has his 2 year old audi q7 stolen because he hadn't locked the front door properly, meaning it can be opened using just a screwdriver/chisel.

Our doors are always locked but car keys are left downstairs in kitchen. I'd rather the cars go than scum coming anywhere near my family. However if they do i've a baseball bat to hand. And i'd happily do time for pulping any scum who decide to come upstairs.

Even if you pull the handle up and lock it you can still get in with a hammer and screwdriver. In fact in most cases it is impossible to lock without raising the handle.

Makes a lot more noise though.
I also leave both keys downstairs in the kitchen. It isn't worth being potentially stabbed/killed protecting a piece of metal that can be replaced.

One of my favourite cars
As the days go by I'm more and more disillusioned by the world we live in.

All a bit concerning this shit. Reactivated my RAC Trackstar because of this, at least then I'll be able to locate my car once it's been wrapped around a lamp post / burned out.

They aren't stolen to order. Unless somebody ordered a fried Audi.

no need to
if you have a tracker that de-activated on reporting the theft to the police they have the rights to force the tracker company to activate the tracker
As advised by the POLICE directly

Kinda stupid if you ask me. If they're going to go to the bother of stealing cars, the might as well make some money off them so eventually they can buy their own.
Since they're insured an all...

Then hopefully someone will steal theirs and see how they like it.
