Done Sussex to just outside Galashiels this week. 425 miles each way. On the way up I stopped once (left at 4am) yesterday I did it non stop as I'd had enough, left at 2.30 and beat satnav eta by an hour lol.

Did 550 miles yesterday, London to Aberdeenshire. Would have been an 1100mile round trip but flew down instead, glad I did now

I've done around 700 miles in a day when i was younger with a couple of breaks here and there.
I can't do it now
I've done Liverpool to Stockport and onto London and back again in a day recently. Shared the driving for this though.

Biggleswade in Bedfordshire to Chatel in France.

In a 5 speed Transit. Suited to towing. So about 3500rpm at 70mph which is a lot for a diesel, so pretty noisy. No air con, in the summer. Couple of stops. We managed to do a 160 mile stint at 80mph. The interesting thing, we managed to do 80 miles in an hour. Wonder of the toll roads.

You try sitting at 70mph in this country and actually doing 70 miles.
No traffic is what I meant!

Drove Glasgow to Truro in Cornwall (570 miles) in my Octavia TDi, bought a Transit recovery truck, put the Octavia on the back and drove home (570 miles)
On the way down done it in 7/8 hrs, on the way it took 11 hrs, joys of a fully laden Transit non turbo!
