exactly this. if manufacturers used atw hp then obviously, that'd be the one to choose and use everytime.

but, as they use atf hp then it makes sense to carry on using this once modding begins.

Mine isn't glued although I keep meaning to get it sitting flush which will probably require glue.

Hiya,

Set about fitting these grills, removed the old stuff

bottom one needs quite a bit of cutting alteration to fit, had to trim about an inch all the way around the bottom piece and cut all the tabs off

Also had to trim the ledge off the bumper where the one piece of the bottom bit was stuck too

Glued in place and top bit in

Proper pics when its dried tomorrow

Not sure if it's me imagining, but the car I reckon feels slower with this intercooler, before the acceleration was quite aggressive, now it almost feels like it did before the pulley mod I'm wondering if the larger intercooler could cause a pressure drop across the system or something? Or maybe it's the warm weather, or maybe it's in my head

Probably wouldn't be worth getting it dyno'd to see if its making less power seeing as its just pub talk.

Just read some other posts. I think it's the warm weather. Just coincidence that the first hot day is the day I fitted it

Mine used to feel like a rocket on a nice cold day - especially after driving it a few times on warm days - does make a difference. Engine bay gets hot quickly as it's so tight in there with not a great deal of air flow / ventilation!

So the days you want to drive it the most are the days it's the slowest
