Doesn't look like the guys is doing anything other than holding a steering wheel and pushing his right foot down, how very boring imo

Box is great IMO. I have never owned an auto before but this is just great fun.
I do hear your argument of being disconnected but I chose to go for the auto for a change from the norm.

If i do that in my car i have to make sure nothing has fallen off or exploded in the engine bay, far more interesting.

Yeah there are a number of tuning routes you can take. The most popular being a jb4 which allows switchable maps through the flappy paddles.
Stage 1 is around 385bhp and stage 2 is 400+ , stage one can be achieved with less than 500 quid stage 2 requires a new down pipe.

Book says 320bhp / 450nm of torque. They are all however been seen to make 330-340 on the rollers as standard.

I don't think people appreciate its as quick as it is, guess a lot of people try to get you to have a play thinking they can embarrass you and it ends up being the other way round

This. People most likely see the m badge and think you've stuck it on.
It must be good fun doing that in such a normal looking hatchback.

This as well it is a very 'normal' looking car, where as a M3 for example is very much in your face and people appreciate its performance due to its looks and every one knows what a M3 is, love this car though

Agree, love the 'sleeper-ness' of this.
Put a 116 badge on the back and watch the challengers weep.

The car will be jb4 stage 2 by the end of next year.
Still to decide on an exhaust though
Plans:-
Lightweight front splitter (it's very nice)
Exhaust of some kind. (Very undecided)
Jb4 (for stage 1)
Down pipe (to enable stage 2)
