I can see that video with my own eyes, along with using this nexus 4 right next to my iphone 5. I just don't see your point.
Feel free to show me screenshots or videos demonstrating your point.

It's a waste of time showing you screenshots now Ash because you don't pay attention to them if they don't support your view. You even went as far as to post a dodgy screenshot here before to prove your point.
There's absolutely no reason for me to get a Nexus unless I think it's actually a better phone for me, considering I've got a 5S here.

Steve's analogy doesn't match with what I'm saying.

That's cool, I'm not trying to prove you wrong (I was actually interested in your point) and I've nothing against the Nexus, to be fair for £300 nothing beats it.

From what I'm reading, nothing for £600 does either

I won't have it until next week probably but will still have the 5S, I'll get some genuine screenshots and try and show what I mean.
In that video you posted where they have the verge website. That's designed to show the same format on a mobile device. So no matter how high res the screen, if it's mobile, it shows the same amount of content.
If I load CS, which doesn't do that, i'll get much more on the screen, actually more than I have on my laptop which is only 1366x768.

What I'm saying is that a larger display will generally look better, eg my flaccid penis on my 100inch screen in 720p looks loads more impressive than the same image on my phone.

I'd actually disagree with that Steve but that's not my point at all, it's probably the complete opposite.
In general, if the resolution stays the same, and one screen type isn't massively better than the other, the higher resolution in a smaller physical area will look better.

thats just zoom levels and also depends on how the site is coded. To compare you need something of fixed width, eg an image

Fair play Dom, fair play, you found one bit where it actually shows more. (I won't screenshot all the situations where it doesn't ).
Is being able to see an extra 10th of an image or line of text (and only in the browser and only situations where the websites coded with a fixed width or whatever) really worth the trade off of having a phone you can't use comfortably one handed?
Developers should be doing more to take advantage of the larger screens, like in the youTube screenshot I posted, it was just the normal app blown up showing a list of 7-8 search results. The screens big enough to for example show a grid of 16.

That verge example is a bad example, that's formatted so it shows basically the same on all mobile devices.

So far so good, missus' first experience with Android but she's already loving it.
Still no word on ETA for the official bumper case or wireless charger though
