Have a look over the bonnet and front bumper paintwork. If its chipped youll know.

There's a couple extra holes on the suspension turrets but can't say I've noticed anything else

Last one that popped up was in an accident whilst on a trailer... Do see them often. Can check the loom. If it works its most likely not a genuine one. Maybe a fake.

Can't be an F16 - that's a big block box.

The C afterwards might be CR, as opposed to WR, close ratio and wide ratio. Wide being better for fuel consumption.

35-50mpg out of a x16xe

my 1600 sport was shocking on fuel, lucky if it was doing 10mpg
