I like the rear floodlights. Are they connected to the reverse light or are they a separate switch?

Don't hang the wheel on the back door. It pulls it down and it'll catch. I reckon that's why it's not on now, cos the hinges really already fooked

Thats quite a cool idea actually. You painting this steve? Theres an orange one all stickered up with some sort of gumball/rally type logo all over it just along from me. He's hot a freelander in the same guise aswell. Pretty cool.
I would have the spare on the back maybe checker plate the floor in the back? Either way get new wheels and get out before it all dries up.

in the summer im considering spraying it matte orange or matte black with rattle cans, thoughts on this?

Yes, do that, whats that plastic sort of paint you get? Plasticote. kinda peels off if you want it.

Also have you seen the armoured paint some people have on landrovers, seems to be everything proof, but probably costs a shitload.

Take some sand paper to the paintwork = matte green
