Low mileage ones are 20 or so but with 35-40k on they're 17/18, can get thrm cheaper still.

I've jus finished watching Top Gear with the c63, RS4 and M3 on it. As they're all on your list I'd still have the RS4 lol. The Merc and Audi were near identical times round a track with the M3 a good bit quicker. Seeing as you'll probably never go on track the Merc is very quick in a straight line with the others pretty much even. In wet conditions the RS4 would come into its own.

The noise every single time you put your foot down in the C63 beats all the other characteristics of the other 2.

I don't agree, that 4.2l, 420 PS Audi V8 sounds beyond awesome anywhere in the rev range.

Did you post the wrong video?

That's got an after market exhaust and it doesn't sound anywhere near as good as any standard merc with that engine.

The only reason the Merc is being considered is for the noise it makes tbh.

Sat nav is motorised and pops up from the dash and is hidden when not in use.

Self closing doors are what was introduced on the W140 Sclass/CL. Gently push door so it latches, car sucks it in.

Stop asking about that anyway else I'll be up all night on jap auction forums looking for an S500 again

You really gonna split hairs because its got a different exhaust lol. The mercs a full 2000cc bigger so the different exhaust is allowed.

My point was, that even with the exhaust, it's still not as good.

So today I drove a Scirocco R and an S3 black edition.

The Scirocco was DSG and obviously they're only FWD, funky electronic diff though and it was amazingly grippy! The gearbox is awesome and the only thing letting it down was the seats, needs the really rare wing back Recaros.

The S3 was manual and had the Recaros but it was a little bit too much money. Sounded better too which is odd considering it's the same engine. Quattro made it feel totally different, a lot more grown up and whatever you did, the wheels would not spin, even though it was chucking it down which it wasn't when driving the Scirocoo.

Verdict is.... still have no idea!

Well there's something a didn't know, I was certain the Rocco was 4wd. I thought all the R versions were lol. The Rocco is a nicer looking car out the 2 IMO. Not fancy the TTS???

It's odd, the Golf R is 4wd, the S3 is, TTS, they all share the engine with the Scirocco but that's FWD only.

Much more 'playful' though, you can move it around on the throttle unlike the S3.

The 4wd comes into its own in the wet which in this country will be quite often lol. I have the same engine, box and turbo in mine and for a fwd car it puts the power down very well considering its 130bhp over standard lol. Just a pity your so far away as I'd let you have a go in mine.
