Having to put up with Liverpool fans is worth it as long as Chelsea don't win it. I would rather Cosmo returned to this forum than having to put up with Mourinho's generic, regurgitated, bullshit through the media.

Scousers winning the league would be horrific. Rather City did if push came to shove cos at least they're Mancs
Unlike the majority of United fans?
Terrible logic.
I thought the majority of Man Utd fans hated Liverpool more than City? City have only been on the radar for United in the last 4 years in recent times and the Manc/Scouse rivalry is incredibly bitter.
If City win it at least Utd fans can just trot out the 'you bought it' line.

No doubt if we do win it every manc in the land will be talking about the history in them winning it 20 times.
Yeah but its not Liverpool so that makes it ok

I don't think Man Utd are in a position to criticize anyone for under achieving

United hate Liverpool because of historical success. They should be hating City because they have a specific strategy with the sole ambition of ousting Man United both on and off the park.
The rivalry between United and Liverpool is healthy in footballing terms, it's based on something other than a rich Arab trying to thrown billions at a football club.

Fucking sheep who follow the clubs outside of the city. Hates scousers mainly because their team does but yet will cheer on their best player and offer 300K a week to a 'scouser'

United hate Liverpool because of historical success.
Its more than that. It extends beyond football back to the industrial age when Liverpool flourished because of its port and Manchester was the industrial hub of the country. When the Canal was built through Manchester and ships could bypass Liverpool and resulted in a lot of trade disappearing from the City and resulted in massive job losses, hence the chants you hear from United fans (Sign on, sign on, with hope in your hearts & eating rats in your council house). Its more than just a football rivalry but the success of both teams at the top of the english game only made it worse.
The inter city rivalry has always been there between City and United, but its never been as bitter at the one between Manchester and Liverpool and you cant just make one more bitter now because City are now suddenly successful.

Opinions on Mourinho P?
I think he's great value aswell as being a brilliant manager but I think he is increasingly childish and has picked up so annoying antics from his time in Spain.
As for his position, assuming you don't win the title now, and there are better teams in the CL who 'should' see you off. Is there a chance Abramovic would rid of him again after a trophyless season? Clearly universally popular with the fans but they don't make the decision.
There is not a hope in hell Mourinho is going anywhere.
no chance whatsoever RA may be an uber cunt but he doesnt even come close to Levy in the clown stakes
hilarious watching mourinho crumble under the pressure this season started wiuth the whole little pony nonsense, through to his (extremely disresepctful) specialist in failure jibe (amusing since thats exactly what he was in Spain!) now doen to running on the pitch like a sissy cunt to 'protect' his thug players and now screaming his head off at a fucking 10 year old ball boy

given the huge sums of money youve spent since you last challenged for the title, id say noone in world football has under achieved more than liverpool :/
credit where credit's due, youre overachieving this year but thats mainly due to one particular player (a la Spuds and Bale) and the complete lack of pressure due to not being good enough to compete in any other comps.

I can see Liverpool doing a Spurs, one good season, get into CL then falling off again in subsequent seasons. This is their best opportunity for a title so they need to take it really.

A little insight into how much of a cunt the cheeky chappie Jose really is. You could see the exact point he realised he had thousands of people looking at him trying to bully a wee boy.
Absolute wanker.

Hes one of the reasons i wouldnt want to see Chelsea win it (that and their fans are by and large utterly classless cunts)
Generally i couldnt give a fuck who wins it but they would be my least preferable team to see take it.

a lot depends on Suarez but they have a decent core of players and clearly Brenda has done well at settign them up. However, can they afford to go afetr the big players and would they be attractive? Not sure what their co-efficient would be now but would think after numerous years out of the CL they're likely to suffer at first in the same way BVB and City did at first. Also a big task when youre competing on 4 fronts against Europe's best and have to go away to a Chelsea or an Arsenal or City etc. after a big European match just a few days before, big toll on the squad too. But certainly no reaosn to think theyll do a Spuds.
City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Utd and even Spuds and Everton will also strengthen over the SUmmer so nxt seaosn will be even tougher yet!

Good point Robbo, if Liverpool win and a serious about staying at the top they need a full squad of top players. With them being out of Europe and the cups this year has definitely helped them.
It'll do English football some good, having another top team challenging and attracting world class players will force the other teams to raise their game and we maybe able to compete with the Germans and Spanish again.
