Ox and Wilsh injured, joy of joys

Only saw the highlights, looked like good prep. good goals too and good to see lambert doing so well. never a red on sterling though.

why the fuck did flanaghan come on when he's not even in the squad?! who is the midfield backup with them in Miami, is there anyone?

Ribery out of the WC Watch Griezmann's price rocket just in time for Arsenal to take their interest further

Something feels a bit different about this world cup regards the England team. Can't put my finger on it but got a gut feeling we might actually do fairly well. Obviouslynot gonna win it.

From what I've seen so far, I think this England squad might actually cause a few problems.
The golden era may be gone, but the golden era was filled with players who can pass and shoot. Lampard, Gerrard, Beckham etc etc had no direct running players from midfield, whereas now there is OX, Barkley, Sterling, Wilshire etc who are young, eager to impress, and unafraid to take a man on. Defensively however, Roy should have done everything he could to get Terry and Cahill partnered up. Jagielka is good, but Terry's experience, and general defensive ability will be sorely missed.

i'm inclined to agree with eck, however, we are 30/1 for a reason

i think we will DWW our group games and face ivory coast, who we will dispatch without too much drama then lose to spain in the quarters after they beat croatia. they will then lose to argentina in the semis but beat germany for 3rd place after they have lost to brazil in the other semi

Germany will beat russia and france in there 16 and 1/4's
Brazil will beat chile (NED wont get out their group with that defence) and columbia

should i even bother watching now

Made me laugh also i've been there twice. Both times were exactly the same. Fucking humid as hell and sunny, then from nowhere a storm passes over which is ''biblical'', as Ian wright put it.

I'd be amazed if this gets going again.
