I had 165/50 on my old polo. That was on 7.5" lenso's. Drove like shit could feel the tyres flexing. Was horrific.
Then again the subframe hit cat eyes it was that low so it drove like shit anyway.
Don't cut springs though. That's proper dodgy.

That's because it was on a wider rim , the bigger stretch the more unsafe it is the less it'll grip the road the quicker it'll go through tyres and it'll just feel shit work it out exactly what u can get away with and stretch to suit the car not just the smallest tyre you can get on the rim also different brands stretch better than others and you want one with a decent sidewall as if you do go for a scenetastic stancewanker stretch your tyre to road mating face will be the inner walls especially if running camber

Stretch is crap for a drivers car. But it's only a corsa B so that's not a worry.

So small update for you lot..

Heres the strut brace from johnny - cheers (as you can see the bairn is keeping the house tidy)

Gsi skirts arches and jacking points - not here yet

Morettes - not here yet

Also bought these a while back - need a good clean up tbh

Got a mate in the corsa to simulate the interior - deffo going to need to be lower

Put the car in the garage on stands

Stripped some more sound deadenning - still loads to do but this is an old pic

And the reason why this is important - even when having a full interior like i plan

The worst of it

Nothing too sinister but makes me wonder how many corsas are slowly rotting away unseen - maybe an idea to check
