Not really. It's an excellent place to live and I am looking forward to it. Can't say I have an issue living near a hair dressers, a sandwich shop and some IT consultants.

Windows, plastering mostly done downstairs from what I could see in the kitchen anyway, all the sockets and wiring are done for there. Also concrete base for the shed done.
Coming along nicely.

Is it one normal size symmetrical house or a semi and the fence through the middle isn't up yet?

It's a semi with the worlds narrowest side windows on the French doors.

I don't get the side windows either tbh
Can't explain the gravel garden I have no idea what that is for. Quite confused by it.
And yeah it's a 3 bed semi detached. I couldn't afford a 4 bedroom detached, maybe later in life.
