You can say thatabout anycar. Like daniels car, at the end of the day its only a 1.4 corsa with some wheels on it. Its whatever people are willing to pay. I personaly wouldnt spend that much but i wouldn't say he was a dick for doing it

cant believe some of u corsa owners are sayin u wudnt want an escort cossie.....not only are u jealous, ur thick.
If its concourse thru out, like an immaculate show car with very low milage then yes, it would easily reach far more than book prices.
As mentioned b4 on this board, guy at the end of my road owns a very late Nova GSi (imported directly from the opel factory in spain).....owned it since new. its done bout 3k and is the cleanest car i have ever seen. Its got the full package including heated seats, electric heated irmscher door mirrors.....the lot.
Vaux themselves write to him to ask him to represent them on one of their stands at prestige shows + historic rally's etc........
so come on, whip out ur parkers guide now.....coz some how i dont think u'll find a catagory for this.......
on many occasions he's been offer £8k+ for it, by vaux fanatics etc

Thanks MattyB, some people on here just hate it when they are wrong.
Like i said before, cars are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them.
At the end of the day, an Escort Cosworth is only an Escort under the 2.0l turbo, 4 wheel drive, leather, bodykit etc etc, and are a very desireable car to many people out there. To those who can afford to buy one and insure it, they will pay whatever as long as it's a minter.
Parker, glasses or any of the other car price books are way off when it comes to a classic or sought after car. You just have to put it up at the price you think is right. We just sold a series 1 for £6000 the reason being its a classic, 1 owner, full ford service history with 40k on a B plate. It's worth every penny to the people who are in to them.

a car is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it!
a mint cossie with concourse condition i would say is worth 17k mark but as again people will pay what they want!
I think that the silver nova gte is worth 3k as think to the time money and effort spent getting it to the level that it is now!
i am looking at a f reg nova for £2500 at the moment, fair enough boom price - use glass' guide!! is about £800 tops but a full re built, concourse condition with a 1.6 turbo engine which is chrome and has been mag featured, to me this is more desirable and different than a car newer with less miles! but will it be as clean i doubt it??!!
