saxo vts 127 bhp, clio 16v 137 bhp! u may be gettin confused with the clio rsi which is also the 1.8! im yet to see a standard vts beat a clio valve mate!

where did you get 127bhp for a VTS from
its 120bhp.. and is significently lighter... Don't tell me a clio valver will not nail 60 in 7.7

is it? thought they were 127bhp, lad round the block had one and said his was standard and 127horses, dont pay any interest to saxos really, ill stand corrected, id still rather have a clio valve as i think they look better!

actually, I think they look pretty shit, just my opinion... boxy and rear is a bit ew. Some VTS's came out with varying bhp for unknown reason's. Clio's dont do anything for me, the williams is nice though if your into that car

dident read all this post, but the clio ur looking at will beat a vts, so why would u want to buy a fast car, then not to far in the future get a slower car?

With those modifications it will beat a VTS... standard they will not
Those mods will have it running same sort of speeds as a williams I would have thought

everythings down to personal taste at the end of the day, yeh saxos are quick but as the clio to u saxos just dont appeal to me! used to get wasted by both in my corsa, give them a bit of a surprise now though!

my old clio used to see away my mates vts and sooty you say a williams looks better than a clio16v they are exactly the same just the wiliams has 2ltr 16v and gold wheels and a saxo lighter than a clio the whole front end on a clio is fibreglass only heavy thing on that car was the engine

the clio 16v will beat a vts to 100 and top end yes
clio 16v - 0-60: 7.7, 0-100: 22, 130mph top end, 980kg
saxo vts - 0-60: 7.7, 0-100: 23, 126mph, 950kg
williams and 16v both have same bodywork but different wheels and obviously the 'williams' stickers

Not forgetting most 16v's are 10 years old or more now. Standard for standard the VTS should beat it all round. Not a lot in it though

ask for the origanal airbox cos cone filters slow them things down, mate has just bought a standard one, jesus that things quick
