dunno i dont play that much. did up civic to max, bought mustang n sold civic, did mustang up to max but got pissed off cuz 200bhp disappeared for no reason, so saved up for supra...
i suppose i play it a fair bit about 2 hrs a day? depends if im in or not lol.

on the supra i think ive got everythin except the racing wing. it's turbo'd as standard so u cant run super.

I don't get this - my civic is running 490 bhp ... the best I can do is times of around 10.2 (cos I lose traction)
Yet a civic with less bhp than me was running 8's!?

I've got nos
My car still only runs a 1/4 of around 10.2 coz I have to pull really slowly off the line not to wheel spin...
basically I have it at about 2.5k rpm - I pop it into 1st and let the revs drop even more (increasing throttle even a little bit before revs drop result in terrible wheel spin and engine damage) - but of course now my engine's at 1k RPM even when I floor it it takes ages to speed up and then suddenly accelerates ...
If I had unlimited grip and could have it at 3k and then accelerate straight off the line I'd get good times!
Anyone know anything special to increase traction other than coilovers and tyres?

paul, there is a secret to not wheelspining. to get a good start, stop as far back in the staging area as possible.
when your first yellow light illuminates change into first, the car should be gin to creep forward. the next step is to open the throttle, making sure you do not exit the staging area before the green light (otherwise you foul) getting the timing right is the crucial bit and experience will help you judge when to put your foot down. this method should prevent wheelspin and allow reaction times of 0.6 average (for me)

i just reluctantly baught the boost controller and unlocked about another 40 bhp. ive now found a pretty good ratio and my evo is running 9.14 quickest at the moment. i might invest in 200 shot NOS just to get me up to the redline in 6th gear tho
