from what i remember in the auto express pics some1 posted ages ago, the vauxhall 1 looked shit compared to the opc one

I see the CS romour mills is still excited about the GSI.
I know its potentially exsciting, but its so funny hearing all the romours that different people have heard - 1.6 to confuse competitors, 1.8 Turbo, Out next year, this year, multiple turbo'd engines - I'll wiat for the brochure with the Vauxhall badge on the top before I believe anything

It wont be the 1.6 Turbo in this country and it most likely wont look the same as the OPC one.
It has every chance of having a 1.8 turbo with 175BHP. The new astra H will have the same 1.8 turbo engine with the same BHP and the 2.0 turbo is being hiked upto 230 BHP. OPC were having a lot of problems with emissions on the 1.6T and there were rummors that it could not be easierly converted to RHD.
Either way it wont be coming out here untill the end of next year. The fact that the corsa has just had a facelift here will not help as the Gsi will have to look the same.
