Now arnt you the lucky one
£2300!!
At 19 I was only paying £770 on a Prelude VTEC, which is considerably quicker than your veccy Gsi..

Right OK, for your information... you need fcukin educating about cars!!, 1stly i would not want a fcukin scooby how unorgional...duhhh i want a fast car...deerrrr i'll buy a scooby! unreliable turbo power you fcukin nutter..
The Vtec!! who gives a flying fcuk why would i want one of those the vectra V6 is a 150MPH car and might not launch like yours but would spank you on the midrange....bags of torque bullet proof V6 engine, lots of refinment...we aint all after the quickest car we can get...Some people have zero knowledge on cars if i wanted the quickest car i'd buy a dragster...!

They are so so underestimated. My uncle has got a new Subaru WRX 0-60 in 5.9...but it is knowhere near as good as the Veccy its not as compfotable, easy to drive, its tin can, BUT YES it is an awsome performace jap car. The vectra has loads of toys very torquey, lotus designed suspension, I driven both cars and the subaru is quicker and goes round corners quicker but is no way near as good car.

but yes, id probably take a vectra v6 if offered one, i'd bite their hand of for a vectra GSI
a corsa has lotus tuned suspension, its not exactly something to boast about

It would be if you drove the vectra, independent suspension, it handles like a dream in the wet or dry, not 4x4 subaru handling but shockingly good for a big car!...I have experience in a lot of cars i have been mad on cars for years and it is the nicest car i have driven by far, the subaru just make me feel sick! and all it has is power. OK its good for a country road blast but thats about it....i understand people likeing them but for gods sake, the subaru aint the best car in the world not saying the vectra is but the V6 is better than the scoob...not as quick but a better car IMO.

I think a dragster would be impractical.

My mate has an SRi140.... subtle mods... exhaust, nice ICE, tints etc.. its nice to be in, he has a kid though and has to haul alot of stuff around and does alot of miles.
It does not handle to save its life, still a nice car.... for 8k+ though there is ALOT of better cars.... top end speed is nothing... how often do you travel 130+? its how quick you get there
Scoob for 6k ? nahhhh... id want to pay at least 8-9 for a minter I reckon.... insurance on a V6 vectra and 2lt turbo impreza is alot different, most likely unobtainable.
Nice car if thats what your into, but not performance and to insure for 2300 would be a bit hard for me to justify
