todays antics consisted of me working after work hours.
awesome delivery vehicle i tell you. work wanted me to go to some garage and drop tyres off when i was finishing in 10 mins. finished early as i was going that way anyway. weirdest delivery van theyve ever seen.
in other voltage news. added another earth to the battery and earthed to a different point on the chasis. seems a lot better. also idle is turned up from 600rpm to 900rpm, which also has helped as now seeing 13v on idle instead of 10. win.
then on way home from rolling road, seen me old mate vtec alan in his new car.
he had just been lowering it. smart car indeed.

vtec alan used to own a prelude vtec, then a turbo prelude vtec, then another prelude vtec. after buying that legnum says he will never buy a honda again. i still call him vtec al.
edit, oh he also had a civic vti vtec like the one your smashing up aswell. so thats 4 vtecs he has had.

yeah same as a galant vr4. seems quite nippy for a big estate car. 0-60 in about 5.5 he reckons. pretty sure vtec al is taking it to the drag strip next weekend see how it gets on. real nice looking car.

heaves hall near kendal on the 10th of may. might take a trip down for a look around. my favourite type of cars are fords. old ones anyway. didnt go last year but the few years before that when it was at penrith it wasnt a bad afternoon looking at cars. depends if you like fords i guess.
just been reading about the 1/4 mile weekend at kirkbride. £35 for unlimited runs, think thats per day as its on the sunday and monday. £5 for spectators. need to have a driving lisence and a helmet to run. not sure if i can make it really.

thanks to whoever it was posted the link in a thread i had about helmets in general chat, the ebay special has arrived
seems a good fit. obviously the sticker on the visor has been removed. not a bad purchase for a chequebook mechanic if i do say so myself.

Can you not set it up with a pipe to a bong, seal it round your neck and use it like a giant hotbox? Can imagine you pulling up to the start line and flipping the visor up to let the smoke out
