More VW/Audi and Red Bull rumours.

We will see.

They have been having a big paddy again about leaving at the end of this season.

Getting worried/excited for Mercedes now.

Worried, because they look well behind in practice.

Excited, because it makes for a better race if Lewis (and Nico, I guess) have to fight through the field.

Wasn't expecting that!

Great lap from Seb, but Merc can't just fall back and use the amazing lap as an excuse - both Ferrari and RBR have the measure of them here.

Crazy!

Yeah the Mercs were burning up their rear tyres, so they've had to dial in massive understeer, from what i've heard, resulting in shocking handling and awful laptimes.

This could all change on high fuel, of course, but judging by the practice sessions, Mercedes can probably hope for 4th at best as the Ferrari's and Red Bull's are too quick for them. I say 4th, because no doubt Kimi will throw it all away at some point, like he usually does.

Hamilton said tonight that he got the most out of the car, that it was well balanced, no understeer, but just lacked grip and traction. Nico Rosberg said that he felt the car was okay, but he and his engineers have no explanation for why the Ferrari and Red Bull cars are so much faster.

Pirelli say that they cannot see anything in the data which suggests an obvious problem. Mercedes is not overheating its tyres, nor is it failing to heat them up sufficiently.

Well thats bollocks as they said exactly what i've wrote over the team radio.

This isn't a power track, which would explain redbulls good showing, but doesn't explain Mercedes' woeful times.

This has been a bloody awful race so far. Pretty much zero overtaking, loads of pit mistakes and 3 retirements...

I did laugh at the commentary about how well Rossi had done to get 14th on his first start....er how was it hard, he was 2nd last because everyone had pulled out/failed.

Wondering the lack of overtaking it wasn't too bad. Shame Hamilton failed as I think he would have been able to provide some entertainment, would have expected 3rd if not more.

Be real, it was a boring race, made exciting by a crash, a few retirements and some random weirdo strolling onto the track.

Ricciardo had no chance of catching Vettel and Raikkonen is just an average driver in a good car.

Same as every other race then. Just that this one was not won by Ayrton Sennas imaginary child.

I'm beginning to feel sorry for them both tbh. I bet Ron Dennis just wants to knock the head of Honda F1 engines out.

Hardly a surprise:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/motorsport/formulaone/jenson-button/11879322/Jenson-Button-poised-to-quit-Formula-One.html

I guessed as much with all his quips over the radio at the weekend.
