Each to their own, I prefer these.... At least on my car anyway. I know there's still some cars I'd prefer the German ones on though.

I've noticed the reply "each to their own" is never said to people agreeing with the choice. Just an observation

Why would he use it to people agreeing with his choice of lights? that's not what ''each to their own'' means. It means he acknowledges people have different views on things. If someone was to have the same outlook as himself on his lights then that phrase wouldn't suit

I know exactly what it means. No matter like or hate, somebody else will share that opinion though.
It's never a case of using it when somebody agrees. Knew me having an opinion would upset somebody

Because it's said to acknowledge everyone has their own likes and dislikes, if someone's like or dislike is the same as yours why would you be acknowledging that in that way?

So you don't acknowledge people that like your car?
Bit harsh just to ignore people giving compliments

Edited post.
And no, I wouldn't acknowledge a compliment by saying "each to their own"

Really don't like those lights. I had them on my Corsa back in about 2005. Awful. I think std original lights look the best.

people say the colour of my golf is awful, but I like it. And that's all that matters. Opinions aren't facts. Be strong on the Internet. Sets you up to deal with real life much better.

As mentioned before the inside morrette lamps are going back in and being used as indicators as the current set up with motorbike ones is useless and they flash too quickly.
Standard bulb holder being used with an LED, and original wiring being put back just extended to reach.
So far...
Standard pin/clip system being used to secure them in with another groove made
Will work well with standard wiring connected
Reflectors rubbed down due to corrosion, so will need to be re-done.... they are a bit of a mess but will be sorted.
Still undecided whether or not to tint the glass before they get put back in or to leave them clear like the outside ones.....

Not doing is that way. I drilled into the lamp itself, fitted a grommet and a bulb

Oh right yeah the rectangular hole has just been made into a circular one, didnt want to use a different bulb to standard incase its not bright enough again or flashes too quickly
