Inter could, but Barca won't ever sell him so it's all just smoke and mirrors, usual transfer window fare tbh
FPMSL at Inter having £70m+ to throw at a player
I never knew you were Moratti's bank manager Cosmoan?!
He has a few pennys to rub together but even if he could fund a £70m move for a player it'll never happen 1) Because Messi's isn't worth it, 2) No club in the world would pay that!
Fact

EDIT: Oh and it's "Super Zlatan" thankyou very much

Im not, but its not like Inter often go out and break world records (or close to) with your signings to suggest you'd have that sort of money about.
1 + 2. Messi is worth it, much like Ronaldo, off the amount he'd bring in commercially. It would eclipse £70m over a 4yr contract.

But no club would pay it, he may shift a few shirts - but so would Beckham still.
Managers generally don't buy players for their market appeal (Park might be the exeception to this rule though ) but they don't pay the transfer fee neither, I just cannot see any club in the world paying £70m, or even £50m, for him - apart from Real just because he is Barca's prize asset!

Real are going to pay it for Ronaldo
And it wont be the manager who initiates the move, it'll be the board who know what a money puller he will be. And anyway, what manager wouldnt want Messi in their team!?

We'll have to wait and see on that one, but £50m is pure speculation at the moment and is still a mere £20m short of £70m

It's not about a manager wanting Messi or not - what the manager wants is irrespective if the owners wants someone different - Chelsea are a perfect example of this.
Besides, as you said - what manager wouldn't want him - not a single one, every manager would ove to have him in their team, but as you also said it's not the manager that innitiates the move so again it's irrespective what he wants if the board/owner are set on other people - please refer to the point above.

Messi is awesome, i knew he was good but until i saw him at OT i didn't know he was that good, he outshone ronaldo that night
The way he can keep the ball so close to his feet is unreal when running at players
Would love messi at OT, but it's never happening

There's a lot of speculation that Newcastle may have agreed a deal for Pablo Aimar. Not really sure what to make of this one as from what I've heard he has been distinctly average for a few seasons now, however we are crying out for someone with a bit of flair in the center of the park

I heard this was the managers final roll of the dice, so decided number 10 needed a rocket up his arse
