Polys fall apart with semi slicks!

You need seriously good and stiff suspension to work slicks properly, if you dont you wont get the temp into them.

Lee just get slicks anyway. Would of been better if you had 17s, ex BTCC (dunlop) or WTCC (yokohama) slicks are only £150 for 4 delivered from touring car spares.

Saying that I dont think 18s from the from the front of porsche cup wheels are too expensive either

went to get the car dyno'd on sunday...



came back with an impressive....



too low to run! rollers were on the dogbone and bell housing....stupid rollers. will get it done next time i'm near awesome gti.

Nothing too exciting going on at the moment just lil shit bits to fix.

Drivers window reg
Brake switch
Power steering pump

Also got an S3 upper strut to fit, and still need to refurn the R32 wheels i've got for track. oh and give it some love as it hasn't had a wash since moving house!

not randomly dude no, ive had mine out a few times but only if you turn the key and it's not connected do they stay on. Vagcom can clear the light

mine has just started staying on.

Well when u start car it comes on then goes off doesnt it. a few seconds later it comes on again

mine came with them on only ever seen them in demon tweeks there brand new so if there half decent ill keep them on, also what is the stud pattern 5x100? where did you get your adapters for your porsche wheels from? thinking about bmw x5s for mine not sure if a 10j rear will be a bit big tho....

10j out back is possible but you'd need the arches rolling. yeah the weitecs are alright, keep them on! Adaptors from Venom buddy, FK ones. if you can afford it go for H&R's as they have steel inserts.

nothing exciting, just ordered bolts for the s3 brace and fitted a new drivers window reg as the old one snapped a cable, fairly straight forward jobs

Window reg fitted, nice to have a working window again, hopefully get the s3 brace and power steering pump fitted tomorrow as mines dead.
