Doug, could you change the base crew colour to something that'll make the emblem more visible?
White would perhaps be a bit bland, but maybe a light grey like the CS website would work?
Or even the yellow that's used behind the emblem on Social Club?

I thought you pick whatever colour t-shirt you want and it just plonks the emblem on there? Sure it did that when I sorted mine out.

3 of us completed a Survival thingy before, first one I've bothered with till the end, 20k and 3400RP. Was surprised it was that much!

The technique is fairly straight forward, but it doesn't handle complex shapes very well.
I tried with the below, but the SVG code was just too complex for the emblem maker to handle. I imagine that even if it did accept the complex code it could pose issues in game.
Besides, given the sizes the emblems are displayed at inside the game, I think the detail would be lost anyway.
Still, it does give the opportunity to work in Illustrator and add gradients, fonts and even simple 3D, so I might revisit the current emblem at some point.
If anybody has ideas for the crew emblem, hit me up. Just remember that simplicity is pretty much key.

I just figured that it's actually possible to reverse the above process and extract the existing emblem, thus making it fairly simple to add basic changes.
