Finally got around to fixing the locking fuel cap that never locked. Bought a 2nd hand actuator but in the end it was only the plastic rod that had broken.

What idiot at BMW thought a tiny plastic rod would deter a thief from stealing fuel?

Power steering bottle ruins the whole engine bay with how grotty and awful it looks. 2/10 seeing as you left your bedroom to take the pictures.

That's the colour of the bottle, the dark bits are the lettering, is a newish item.

I would rather have the standard airbox, but the BMC does add some bhp and makes a hell of a noise so i'll leave it on i think.

Might take the airbox to rolling road with me to see if there is any difference between the two. Am sure its been well tested before though and BMC with no cold air feed worked best.

Battery bag is on my list, Just not got round to buying one yet, I don't like them metal covers people stick on things around the engine bay.

Removed, cleaned and refitted the ICV. Hopefully I can now pull away without it sounding like I have a potato in the exhaust.
