fair bit of a change from how it started

to how it stands now

looks like a lot of hard work has gone into it, fair play to you. i personally think it looks cooler than a penguins dangly bits.

165's and some washers

I think I have figured out a way to put camber on the rear and still be safe dood, would be really easy for you as you work in the business.

think wedge and think re drilling ...

It's probably easier to cut and reweld the rear stub axle brackets on the beam.

Your plan sounds like camber shims, the hard way.

Only this raging essay mate!

Pissed off, pissed off, pissed off!

Still haven't got my BBS RM's

Was told that they'd be ready this weekend thats just gone. So i order up a set of new tryes, organise with a mate to stop down at hers in Rugby so its not as far to travel to Wiltshire to pick up the wheels. Then i find out that one still hasn't been coated on the Friday tea time that i set off to my mates. So i'm told that they might be ready on the sturday afternoon. So i set off to my mates anyway...

Saturday come round and i try ring to find out whats happening, no answer. So i text, no answer. Bit later on i get a text saying that he's ill and was sorry he couldn't answer, and that the wheels hadn't been done, but he'll try get them done for Monday. At this point i'm a little miffed, but have the hope that come Monday i'll have them.

So me and my mate go for a drive in to Rugby town. Driving along a pot holed road, and one of the front wheels drops into the pot holes and i hear a crunch, think nothing of it as thats what usually happens. Parks the van up in a multi-storey carpark and goes for something to eat and a wander. Come back an hour later to find the van has bled out a lot of oil. Looks underneath to see oil pissing out of the sump! So now i'm in Rugby centre with a bust sump, miles from home with no tools! I can see this been a top weekend! My mate tries ringing some friends to get a tow to her house, but no one can. Came up with the plan of buying some oil, topping it right up and driving it back to hers, which we did, with a nice trail of oil following us.

So Saturday/Sunday is spent taking off the sump and repairing the crack with some Araldite liquid metal with the bare minimum of tools (i had a 10mm spanner and a 13mm spanner and had to borrow a jack off one of the neighbours). Gets that fixed and i'm back up and running agai, things are brightening up!!

And here we are this morning. Get a text off the guy with the wheels telling me they won't be ready till the weekend coming! Yep thats right, the weekend of Donny show. Fucking great! So i asked if i can pick them up as they are and he says there's three at his house in Wiltshire, and one at the powder coaters in Oxford and doesn't finish work till 5:30pm. Then says he might be able to get them done for Wednesday, but will ring the coaters to see if it can be done and will let me know for sure. Have i been let know? Nope!

So now i'm left with my van inddors at Donny with no fucking wheels! So looks like i won't be going to what i think will be the best show this season! To say i'm pissed off is understatement of the Century!!! Fuck fuck fuck fuck!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the essay! Pics to follow of busted sump once i've calmed down and stopped smashing the keyboard

You should still go to Mod Gods Jimmy, your corsa is on the indoor stand and you might just walk away with some prizes and some £££!

Hopefully you get the wheels in time mate, but if you don't, you better still be parking that green machine up on Friday night / Sat morning at Doncaster race course.

Here's some updated pics. The van's on Luke's 14" TH Lines I had to borrow them due to the BBS's not arriving in time. Please don't say it needs to go lower because it physically can't. The sump/exhaust was around an inch off the floor, lower when i was sat in it!

And here's some pics from a photoshoot i did for a German mag....
