It hasn't been really hot since when we fitted, but its noticably different to touch after the journey to work we do. Previously You couldn't physically touch the Manifold after, but now you can hold your hand on it no probs, so it must be doing something! I'll report back once the cars been out on a hot day

Yep, its been a week since I put it on and it still looks fresh. Although i've got some Irmscher Eyebrows to fit so it doesn't bother me if it does wear off. But at the moment it seems fine

This week i've been working on my mates E46 M3.

He picked it up a month ago and hasn't wasted any time on getting some goodies on it.

It cost him 11k with SMG Gearbox (which I can't stand!) and a load of options. 60,000miles.
Having driven the car I totally agree with him that although the suspension is fine for Mr Business man puuttling to work and back, its far from "Focused" ! And the steering feels vague and too light. (plus this car will be going on track in the future starting with the Ring next month).

As a result my mate has purchased some Suspension goodies to sort it out.

Bilstein Shocks
Spax 30/20mm Springs
KW Front & Rear ARB's

He has also ordered some 18" ROTA Alloys in Bronze to toughen up the look and hopefully sharpen up the handling / steering response (car is currently on the factory option 19's)

Original I think is 26mm, new one is 29.5mm and adjustable

The 3 Amigo's

Chunky Shock

The car now sits perfect (how it should of done from on the factory). Unfortunetely it was too dark last night to get any pics outside but I will

I haven't driven it yet with the suspension fitted and although it hasn't had the geometry setup I got a text from my mate this morning confirming immediately its made a HUGE improvement, the steering is more weighted and it no longer feels like a large tank. He's very impressed I'll report back once its setup and i've been out for a proper spin.

We can add the Civic to the list of modded cars in this thread soon, picked up some rims tonight from a Muslim man named Bobby who ''used to be a VW specialist'', lived in leicester and drove a Metro They'll be painted before fitting I will have the coilovers and some spacers on order tomorrow and already have super secret mods lined up

Looks good neil but have you welded all around the main hoop, front half and screen bars before you welded the main hoop in place?
