Gash has done pretty well in the conference from what I remember, so you can't argue with that signing. I guess Ebbsfleets fans voted yes to selling him then. (think he came from there)

Its the most we have spent on transfers since the late 90s when we signed Adrian Randell for £140,000.
Crazy. Its said we got £300,000 from the wembley day out, £150,000 for Woolford plus another £50,000 when they got promoted. So im guessing thats where the money has come from. Still slightly worried as we made a £300,000 loss season before last
Still, i suppose we need to show some ambition, If the club just continued to stagnate at the bottom of the conference, crowds would fall as would outside interest in the club which is vital considering we are trying to get a new ground built. If we can compete near the top and bring in bigger crowds its only going to help our cause. Risky, but maybe we have no other options

Yeah, hes a good player and young. The one thats getting the most praise is Charles. At 21 hes young and rated as one of the best conference defenders. Both players have had interest from league clubs so there is a possibility we could sell them on for more later.
Young, quality players. Great signings and a massive statement of intent from us. I just wish Luton hadnt have come down, they still look very strong.

I remember watching Crewe lose to York at Wembley in the Div 3 (maybe even 4) play-offs in 93 or something.
We were losing 1-0 with a couple of mins left then one of your players inexplicably handballed and we scored the penalty.
went to penalties and we lost.
I had my Crewe scarf on the back of the car, and we passed a York coach on the way back, got a load of stick off them, then we stopped at the services, and had to pass them again. Bastards. We'll probably be joining you next year now Dario's not in charge, although Gudjon was doing all right towards the end of the season

Veloso will be a Prem player says his agent.
Villa, City, Bolton and Arsenal after him. Whatever team gets him, he will shine. He's a brilliant young player. Skillful, great tackler and a thunderbolt of a strike!

You wont accept Ryan in to your group then?
Have you consulted the rest of the group or have they nominated you to make such decisions?

The taxi was for 4 reasons...1. I could have another pint of a real mans drink, 2. It stopped me getting rained on, 3. I got to the ground in time for some food and another (slightly less but still manly) drink and 4. Im lazy.
