3 All quite random and not brilliant shots from this week, i dont know why but photoshop seems to kill my pictures and make them very grainy especially in b+w

but anywho here are the 3 very random shots from the week.

1) I dont know why but i really like this one for some reason even though the light is on the face.

2) I was searching through flickr the other day and noticed a shot and thought im going to have to try it, personally my verion is ***** compared, i blame the dull chess peices but ill have to try it again at some point with better more detailed chess peices.

(see what i mean about it being grainy it was only on iso200 iirc)

3) again i stole the idea of flickr and again the other persons version was a million times better than this but i quite like how its turned out.

c+c welcome

I like it part of me thinks the table should be straight on but part of me thinks it adds something to the shot.

I like it, but i think its got a strange optical illusion to it that its not straight (the bottle that is). At first glance it looks like its falling to the right, but then when you concentrate its straight

Did you have no lime boy

My first experiments with a hand made suction mount, I will be doing these again, I can see where they could be improved.

Well I didnt hand craft the suction part itself. bought two glass sucker things from b&q with the intention of fashioning a rig together, first thing I did though was wrap my manfrotto clamp round one of them and try it different places.

1) A lil dull and id make the blue of the sky a bit bluer and up the other colours saturation a touch.

2) I dont know what the subject is supposed to be so id say the composition needs to be improved on that one imo.

3) Looks ever ever so slightly out of focus id possibly suggest trying b+w conversion.

4 + 5) skies are blown and id suggest upping the saturation again (would suggest b+w but think they would be too 'busy' for that.

6) try b+w or upping the saturation again.

7) best of the bunch imo again possible tweek of levels/colours/saturation may make that little bit better.

8) sky blown again.

all my opinion of course.
