You can see why though, the noise is part of the spectacle of watching F1 live. If it sounds like 1.4 Saxo Furios racing round a track I can see people being put off

Bernie is losing it

Cars are uglier than ever, seem to be losing lap time every year to rule changes and people still flock to see f1 live, at least at the euro races.

The engine noise will simply grow on people as the grooved tyres did, how thin and tall rear wings did, how shark fins did, etc.

I'd imagine the development track is too far long to back out now.

Oh and Bernie was also recently quoted as saying F1 should only have 5 races per year to increase demand and make the sport more popular...

Ferrari would have appear to have found the source of their problems, their wind tunnel is fucked!

5place drop for JB this weekend, looks like they've found the fault which caused LH's failure last GP and wont' risk it again for Jenson.

Apparently MSC was only ever plan C for Mercedes, as they also had Perez lined up if the Hamilton deal fell through.

Maldonado in denial http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/103037

"But in terms of potential [of what he could have achieved in the car], it's difficult to say." - well maybe crashing into people every race would have helped

First lap for Hamilton was on scrubbed tyres, I wonder why... obviously backfired as he never got chance to complete is second run on fresh rubber.

Shame KR ruined it for the rest of us, but I'm pretty sure the Redbulls were untouchable.

Alonso's own fault too, I thought it was Kimi.

Grosjean taking Webber out, now need Seb, Jenson, Kimi and twat not to finish.

Button should be more afraid than Massa, don't take his 3rd place at home GP.

Yeah, no idea where Massas pace has come from, imagine how fast Alonso would have been if he hadn't fallen off.

Fucking hate races where Vettel leads from start to finish, boring.

Pleased for Kobayashi great reception by the fans too. Massa was a quick today but Vettel far to easy all day.

Vettels to lose now IMO.

Faster car than Alonso, no reason why he shouldn't be able to get above him. Just needs to keep it on track and hope for good reliability
