I'm actually excited. I know he isn't a patch on the player he was, but he's still got that presence.

I saw some bullshit online about 'Oh Arsenal will be dreading Drogba again' etc etc, but in reality, the guy is nearly 37 for christ sake. Sure he's still a very 'fit' guy, and not some Brazil Ronaldo, so that will help him of course. If he chips in with some goals, helps the younger players, motivates the dressing room up etc then that's pretty good.

Torres, has to go. That would leave Costa, Lukaku, Drogba, which I'd say is still possibly a bit short.

Calum Chambers on his way supposedly. Must admit, don't know what he's like.

Drogba coming back can only be a good thing for the Premier League. Sure he is a diving, theatrical cheater, but there is no denying he is up there with the best.

I'm awaiting all the Arsenal fans bigging up the interest in Nani...

He's got the creative talents of Hazard, Willian, Oscar, and now Fabregas to help. He may be old, but he still knows how to head a ball. If he puts one past Arsenal with a Cesc assist, someone will be haen kittens.

Oh dear. You'd think they would want a marquee signing to show the fans they haven't sold their chance of top 4.

Lovren completed move to Liverpool. Wonder who that spells the end for? Skrtel is great in the air, but its a miracle he doesn't give away at least one penalty a game with his man handling at set pieces. You'd imagine Agger will stay and Sakho is a talented younger CB who they should hold on to.

A fee in the region of £16m for him?
That takes the total income to about £95m? If they invest half of that, they could build some team.

De Vrij to Lazio confirmed for €8.5m. Bit of a bargain, but Lazio?

Schneiderlin will be following him out the door too The thing is, they could replace those players with good quality and pocket a fortune. The English player tax for Shaw and Lallana alone means some top performers from the WC could be brought in with cash to spare. Vlaar should be at the top of the CB list!
Koeman at least has a sense of humour with his training pic on twitter with an empty field

Alternatively bring in the next crop along with a couple of experienced signings and recoup another 200 million in a few years.
